My Story

Born and raised in Calgary, I always took a liking to film and television since childhood. In school, I was more interested in the more artistic and creative sides of education.

Since graduating high school, I was unsure what to do next. Therefore, I decided to join the workforce. Each day, going through the motions, not feeling satisfied with the status quo, I yearned to exercise my creative passion.

Without knowing what my future held, I finally took the risk to apply to the Film and Video Production program at SAIT in 2023. Through this experience, I have met some of the most passionate and talented people here in Calgary. Through hands-on learning and studying, I had redefined my passion for filmmaking through the technical eye. This evolved my love for films as a whole. Experiencing the long hours on-set, the hard work that goes into prep, and the countless hours of post-production. Through this, I had developed a true appreciation for film I had never felt before.

Now as a graduate, I am looking for new opportunities to further refine and develop my skills and style. Whether on-set or off, I look forward to meeting more talented artists to learn from and expand my network.

My goal is that one day I can inspire others to continue to challenge themselves, experiment, and to truly appreciate the experience and process that goes into creating art.
